Performing Friends and Disability Connection
Art with Heart was blessed to get acquainted with Janie O'keefe and, through her, to the Lynn Meadows event called Performing Friends. We then connected to the Down's Syndrome Society and others. These beautiful people full of heart and passion welcomed us with open arms and even allowed us to continue facepainting in spite of the crowd we drew (pardon the pun) and their impending story-reading session that was going on! They had to hold the story telling next to our booth because the sweet faces didn't want to give up their places in line!
