Gene Trefren's Commission
Gene has such a romantic heart! As a doting mother, she wants so much for her two daughters to have the loves of their lives be fully enamored with them. Heart and soul, she wanted the warm feelings of romance conveyed in their portraits. She wanted simple black and whites of the ladies and their beaus. Georgia Sallhoum's gorgeous little boy
This was a canvas ordered by Lisa that we thought would translate well into an oil. And boy, were we right! This piece ended up going to an auction for a benefit near and dear to our client Georgia Sallhoum--- the lucky winner gets a photoshoot with Lisa Howell and then gets to pick out their amazing portrait to be painted by moi :) (We have the best jobs in the world.)
The Vice Commission
Darla Vice and her hubby Joey are literally decorating their house around these portraits!! How many artists can say that about their work? I feel like I'm in a dream. I am honored and amazed at Darla and her hubby Joey's grace, charm and humor... I've loved working with them for LH portraits: a combination of both the wonder and beauty of Lisa Howell Photography and my painting. PS: the gorgeous red head on the website home page is this one's sister. They have triplets!
