Disclaimer for Art with Heart 2010-2011

Welcome everyone, thank you for clicking on this link. I've often believed that if more people were upfront and honest about where they stand and why, that the world would be more understanding and less complicated and confusing. Some people like to keep their issues a secret, perhaps out of shame or perpetuating the fallacy that "professional" people don't have issues. We are all human and relating on a human level is what binds us and connects us :) Since I believe that honesty is the best policy, here is what is going on in Art with Heart's world.
To those of you who are new or who hadn't heard yet, I am happy and excited to say that I am expecting, with a due date of May 1, 2011. We couldn't be more thrilled! But with this happy news, comes an energy level as reliable our weather on its worst days. Some days are good and I say yes to invitations and wonderful events, but when the event finally arrives, my get up and go is -gasp- GONE. And sometimes I have to funnel what energy is here into having clean underwear. I fear that this fact appears to be translated as irresponsibility, but sometimes I simply can't keep up, as much as I would love to. For this reason, we've had to postpone all of our children's classes for a future date.
In addition to this, some of you know I have AD/HD, which isn't only a curse, it can be a blessing. Ummm... although not recently. For the health of our baby, I am no longer medicated and this makes for a sometimes very scattered, often late and forgetful Art with Heart President (even more-so than usual). Rest assured that even though I am struggling sometimes, I am doing my best and I wish to be part of events, classes and functions.
The long story short is that I'm afraid of disappointing anyone because I enjoy your smiles. No, my ducks aren't in a row because I can't remember where I put them or what their names are, but I appreciate your patience and understanding and here's hope for the future, with a new baby and a time when- hopefully- a little more reliability comes back to your loving president of Art with Heart in Mississippi. We're not going anywhere (sometimes literally, lol), but just having to take it easy for the time being.
